Delivery Time Frames

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days of being placed. Orders received after business hours, on weekends, or during holidays will be processed on the next business day. Most orders are delivered within 2 weeks from the date of purchase.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email, typically within 24-48 hours. If you do not receive tracking details, please check your spam folder before reaching out.

Scheduling Your Delivery

Our delivery partners will handle the shipping of your order. They will contact you using the details provided at checkout to arrange a delivery appointment. To ensure a smooth process, please respond promptly to schedule a convenient delivery time. If a delivery attempt is missed, the delivery partner will reach out to reschedule. However, multiple failed attempts may result in additional charges or the return of your order to our warehouse.

Address Verification

To avoid delays, please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout. If you need to update it after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible. If an order has already been dispatched, we will do our best to intercept and redirect it, though we cannot guarantee success.

Delivery Signature Requirements

A signature is required upon delivery to ensure safe receipt of your order. If you prefer to receive your order without a signature, please let us know in advance. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages if this option is chosen.

Shipping Costs

We offer free standard shipping on all orders over €99 within the Netherlands. Standard shipping costs apply for orders below this amount. For deliveries to other countries or areas, please contact us for a quote.

For added convenience, we also offer optional services, such as upstairs delivery or two-person handling, for an additional fee. If you require these services, please feel free to contact us, and we'll be happy to assist you.

International Shipping

We currently only ship within the Netherlands and Belgium. If you'd like to purchase our products internationally, please contact us and we'll do our best to help. For orders within Germany and France, please visit our dedicated websites at sorara.de and sorara.fr.

Lost or Damaged Packages


If a package is delayed or lost, please contact us within 2 days of the expected delivery date. If your order arrives damaged, you must refuse the package or report the issue within 48 hours after delivery.

1. Legal Warranties

All products sold are covered by:

  • The statutory guarantee of conformity under Articles 7:17 and 7:18 of the Dutch Civil Code is valid for two years from delivery. If a product is defective or does not meet the description, consumers are entitled to repair or replacement (or a refund if repair/replacement is not possible).
  • The warranty against hidden defects under Articles 7:21 and 7:22 of the Dutch Civil Code applies if a hidden defect renders the product unusable or significantly reduces its use. This warranty is valid for two years from the discovery of the defect.

2. Commercial Warranties

Some products may come with an additional commercial warranty, which will be specified in the product description. This warranty does not replace the legal warranties but may provide extended coverage.

3. After-Sales Service & Spare Parts

3.1 Spare Parts Availability

We do not stock spare parts for our products. However, if you require a specific part, we will do our best to source it from the manufacturer.

We cannot guarantee the availability of spare parts or delivery times, as this depends on the manufacturer’s stock and production capabilities.

3.2 Requesting Spare Parts

If you need a spare part, please contact us at contact@sorara.nl with your order number, product details, and the part you require. We will inform you whether we can source it and under what conditions. If spare parts are available, they may be subject to additional charges. The price of spare parts depends on the manufacturer and will be communicated upon request.

3.3 Repairs & Replacement of Parts

  • If a component of your product is damaged or needs replacement, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in obtaining the necessary parts from the manufacturer.
  • If a repair is needed, we will guide you through the available options, which may include local repair services or manufacturer support.
