1. Scope and Purpose

These Terms of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") govern all purchases made on our website sorara.nl and in our retail stores, operated by Imagine Lifestyle BV (trading as Sorara Outdoor Living). They define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the sale of products to consumers.

By placing an order on our website or in our retail stores, you acknowledge having read and accepted these Terms without reservation. The Terms apply to all sales within the Netherlands and may be updated at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of your order.

3. Products

The products available for sale are those described on the website or on display in our retail stores at the time of the order. We make every effort to present the products as accurately as possible (including descriptions, specifications, and images). However, if viewed online, minor variations in colors, sizes, or features may occur due to screen displays or updates.

If a product is unavailable after you place an order, we will inform you as soon as possible and either offer a replacement, a refund, or a store credit.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 Prices

All prices are shown in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes (VAT) in accordance with Dutch regulations. Prices exclude shipping costs, which are calculated and displayed at checkout. However, shipping is free for all orders over €99 within mainland Netherlands.

Sorara Outdoor Living reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, the price applied is the price in effect at the time of order confirmation.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
Bank Transfers (for corporate purchases only)
Other payment solutions as indicated on the checkout page

Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. Orders will not be processed until payment has been successfully received.

5. Ordering Process

5.1 Placing an Order

For online purchases:

Add your chosen products to the shopping cart.
Confirm your order and review the summary.
Enter your billing and delivery details.
Proceed with payment.
Receive an order confirmation email.

For in-store purchases:

Speak with a member of staff to create your order.
Orders are confirmed upon payment at the register.
A physical or electronic receipt serves as proof of purchase.

5.2 Order Confirmation

For online orders, the order is considered final only after full payment is received and the confirmation email is sent.

For in-store purchases, the sale is finalized at the moment of payment, and a receipt is issued.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of:

Payment issues (refused payment, fraud suspicion, etc.).
Technical errors (incorrect pricing or stock discrepancies).
Abnormal or excessive orders (suggesting a non-private purchase).
The order is considered final only after full payment is received and the confirmation email is sent.

6. Delivery

Delivery applies only to online purchases. In-store purchases require immediate pickup unless otherwise arranged with store staff.

6.1 Delivery Timeframes

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Most orders are delivered within 2 weeks of purchase within mainland Netherlands.

Shipping to other countries or remote areas may take longer and incur additional charges.

6.2 Delivery Issues

If a package is delayed or lost, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. If your order arrives damaged, you must refuse the package or report the issue within 48 hours after delivery.

7. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

The 14-day right of withdrawal applies only to online purchases under Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code. Purchases in-store are not eligible for this withdrawal period but can be returned under our store's returns policy.

We offer a generous 180-day return policy for all our pergolas and pergola accessories. For all other products, including furniture, parasols, storage boxes, and decorative items, the return policy is 30 days.

To qualify for a full refund, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it—new, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. If a returned product is damaged or used in a way that significantly reduces its value, we reserve the right to reduce or refuse reimbursement.

A receipt or order number is required to process returns. Different terms may apply to bulk or corporate purchases, as agreed upon at the time of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service at contact@sorara.nl. Refunds will be processed within 14 days after we receive the returned item.

8. Warranties & After-Sales Service

8.1 Legal Warranties

All products sold are covered by:

The statutory warranty of conformity under Articles 7:17 and 7:18 of the Dutch Civil Code is valid for two years from delivery.

Warranty against hidden defects under Articles 7:21 and 7:22 of the Dutch Civil Code.

Some products may have an additional commercial warranty. This is stated in the product description.

If your product is defective, please contact us at contact@sorara.nl and include your order number or proof of purchase.

9. Liability

Sorara Outdoor Living cannot be held liable for:

Damages resulting from improper use of the products.
Non-performance of contractual obligations due to force majeure (e.g., strikes, natural disasters, pandemics).
Indirect damages such as loss of income or business due to a defective product.

10. Dispute Resolution & Customer Rights

In the event of a dispute, you can use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform, provided by the European Commission, to resolve issues arising from online purchases.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights, including the legal right of withdrawal under consumer protection laws.

These Terms of Sale are governed by Dutch law.
